Hi everyone, no you're not seeing things!
I just wasn't very happy with my finished result on my last post so I had to get some more clay and 'tweak it'...yes I'm a bit of a perfectionist, but I'm learning to embrace imperfection...honest. Anyway very quick post, this is take 2, I redid the clay piece..
and also had a go at puffing out and working the copper more...think I may be working with metal again soon...love it.
I'll be back in the morning with our next ATP exchange post so you will have something different to look at, I promise x

Must have missed this Ruth! Wonderful Tag, love the colours and both the clay and metal are amazing. Will be visiting ATP this Saturday for the first time, looking forward to looking around :-) xxx
ReplyDeleteI liked the previous one too Ruth...but this one looks amazing too!
ReplyDeleteGreetings, Alie :-)
I like the first one Ruth, but I have to admit that the tweeks were well worth it! I just love the new clay embellishment, gorgeous...and your photos captured the copper much better this time around! hugs :)
ReplyDeleteFabulous inspirational project Ruth.

I loved your first piece but can see that this is a much bolder look! I occasionally go back to journal pages to tweak. Your tweaking is brilliant - love it! Chrisx
ReplyDeleteAnd then there's more ! LOVE LOVE this piece ! The flowers on the clay, the copper with the blue (note to self must use this colour combo) the background, the embossed metal...are you getting that I love it ! Sue C x
ReplyDeleteIt is beautiful, and in the bigger size much more in phocus, I love you tore and curled the edges , Ruth .

Well, I just checked out Draft 1, and if I'd just seen that I would have loved it, but seeing it after this, I can see the difference your re-working has made. Gorgeous copper-work, and I love the flower panel, as well as the soft background layers. Delicious!

I'm working backwards so I'll see the first in a minute. What I can say is this is absolutely beautiful. The clay piece is perfect to me and I adore the copper panel. Jenny x
